Demolition of an Old Building at Dumas Station - January 31, 2014
Jay, our winemaker, owns the old buildings next to our winery, and decided it was time for one of them to come down. The result yielded not only a beautiful view, but some beautiful old timber for future projects. With the value of the salvage material, the project nearly paid for itself.

We had planed to pull the "bones" of the building down with a tractor the following morning, but we arrived to find that Mother Nature had done the work for us.

Five Artists - at Dumas Station Wines - November 7, 2013
Just in time for black Friday...our winery's largest art display, titled: Five Artists. This exhibit will showcase the work of five local artists, all inspired by the incredible beauty of our area: Iola Bramhall, Jill Ingram, Judy Robertus, Monica Stobie, and Anne Strode.

Mediums vary from pastels, photography, oils and acrylics to mixed media.  The sizes also vary from small tabletop constructions and 8" x 10" paintings, to larger paintings and mixed media up to 3 x 4 feet. And, of course, the prices will vary...something for everyone!

On display at Dumas Station November 29 - December 14.

2013 Harvest in the Walla Walla Valley - October 6, 2013
Harvest has begun! We had almost record-breaking, consistently warm weather this summer, which has produced excellent grapes for the 2013 vintage. Fall brought us lower daytime highs--perfect ripening weather. Some of the more interesting flavors volatize in hot weather, so it’s best when the last steps towards ripeness occur in moderate temperatures—exactly like what we’re having now. Cheers to a great 2013 vintage!

Upcoming New Releases from the Walla Walla Valley - August 26, 2013
In September, we'll be releasing some new wines. Our new 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon & 2010 Cabernet Franc have spent almost a year in the bottle, and are shaping up to be some of our favorite wines. To be notified when these wines are released, please join our mailing list in the top right corner of any page on our website. Cheers!

Bottling at Dumas Station - June 14, 2013
We bottled three of our 2011 wines on Friday. We'll let them rest for a couple of months, to release them late this fall. "Bottling" is done via a mobile bottling truck that travels to many Washington wineries bottling wines from all of the different AVAs. We bottled 3 wines this time--all from the Walla Walla Valley: Cuvee No. 439, Syrah, and Cow Catcher Red. Ali put together a short photo album on Facebook for you to check out.
